We are sorry to say that Race City Escapes is officially closing. Due to Covid, and our rent more than doubling this year it is not possible to continue. We had 5 years of supplying a fun, and exciting entertainment venue to not only the younger crowd but to all ages. We thoroughly enjoyed all the happy faces knowing that we had done our job. This closing not only impacts the community but also our family and friends who gave it our all. We will miss it.

An alien race travels the universe looking for intelligent life to abduct the smartest minds and tests them. Unfortunately they accidentally abducted “You”. ABOUT US

We are Lake Norman’s “Race City’s” first “Escape Room Experience”. Don’t know what an “Escape Room is”? Let us explain. In a nutshell you, and up to 10 people are put in a room. Your task is to find clues, solve puzzles to ultimately figure out how to “Escape the Room”. Inside you may find various types of locks, puzzle boxes, cryptograms, cryptic clues, and other brain teasers that all must be figured out so that you can escape in time. Time? Yes, that’s right you only have 60 minutes to accomplish this. Oh, and don’t worry you aren’t “Locked” in the room. You can leave at any time for any reason. Just remember…. The clock keeps ticking!!

Due to State and Insurance regulations. No Alcohol or smoking is permitted in the facility. Thank you for understanding.
